Becky promoted to Full Professor!

After a long application process, five external reviewers, and many months of waiting - our lab PI Becky found out that Cambridge has officially promoted her to Full Professor. She will be 'Professor of Neuroscience and Computational Psychiatry' from October 2023 - the first Chair in this research area in Cambridge's 800 year history.

Becky said "When I arrived in Cambridge to start my lab on a Wellcome Fellowship in 2018, I could never have imagined this would lead to a Professorship only five years later. As someone from a working class background - and first gen to University - this still feels unreal to me, and I will use this position to smooth the path for future generations of marginalised academics to come after me. I am indebted to my colleagues and, of course, to my wonderful lab... without whom this would not have been possible.
