We are a computational cognitive neuroscience lab based in the Department of Psychology at the University of Cambridge. The principal investigator is Rebecca Lawson, who is a Professor of Neuroscience and Computational Psychiatry.

We are interested in how people learn to make predictions about the world around them, and how this process suffers when the environment is uncertain. We believe that this is a fundamental mechanism that scaffolds all aspects of cognitionIt is therefore crucial to understand its emergence in early life and also its disruption in mental health conditions such as anxiety and depression.
